Krista Garcia is a seasoned chef, pastry chef, and culinary instructor who has lived on Maui for the last 9 years, immersing herself in the cuisine of the islands. She has forged relationships with local farmers, foragers, and artisans, allowing her to source the best ingredients available.
Chef Krista has nearly 30 years of expertise ranging from pastry to butchery, private dining to cooking classes. She was a Pastry Chef de Partie at The French Laundry in the Napa Valley, was a featured chef at The James Beard House in New York and curated intimate dining experiences for 6 years in The Treehouse at Hotel Wailea, Hawaii's first and only Relais & Chateaux property. Krista and her husband live on Maui’s northshore and enjoy spending their time establishing a farm to table homestead on his multi-generational pineapple farm, Kokomo Farm & Nursery. |
